If you want an (entertaining) deep dive into heat pumps, I can recommend Technology Connection's

Technology Connections explains why heat pumps matter right now, covering their efficiency, how they hold up in cold weather and the energy savings over burning fuel. It follows his earlier explainer on how they work. HN's default link for anyone asking whether heat pumps work and why they're efficient, thanks to the presenter's clear and enthusiastic delivery.
