PickVidsMoxie Marlinspike, Next Generation Threats 2014
I got excited about signal after watching this video, which explains pretty well the challenges of encrypted communication and how Signal addresses them
Moxie Marlinspike speaks at Next Generation Threats 2014 about the challenges of encrypted communication and how Signal addresses them. He also draws on American action movies as narrative for secure communications. HN people recommend it as a clear explanation of encrypted messaging challenges and of the thinking behind Signal.
