PickVidsFrancis Bacon: A Brush with Violence (2017)
Pretty interesting and sad at the same time. It's worth a watch, IMO.
A BBC documentary on Francis Bacon, the loud, hard-drinking British painter, drawing on people who knew him. It explores the haunted man behind the Roaring Boy persona. HN commenters recommend it as a well-made, interesting and sad documentary on Bacon's troubled life.
