PickVidsProject Orion Nuclear Propulsion - 1950s Tests | Unclassified Video
Here is some declassified test footage of Project Orion.
Declassified footage of 1950s tests of Project Orion, the nuclear pulse propulsion concept, including the Hot Rod prototypes flown on conventional high explosives. It shows the pusher-plate idea working in small scale. Linked as proof that the Orion concept was actually tested, whenever HN discusses nuclear propulsion or exotic spacecraft drives.
